  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, brown rice cereal, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds and all spices (not included cocoa powder).
  3. In a small saucepan on the stove over medium heat, whisk together the brown rice syrup, cocoa powder and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the liquid over the dry ingredients while mixing to combine. Mix thoroughly so everything is coated evenly.
  5. Pour the granola mixture onto a rimmed baking sheet and spread it out into one even layer.
  6. Bake for 22-25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Do not over will crisp up more as it cools.
  7. Store completely cooled leftovers in an airtight container on the counter for several days.
