Green Blender Juice

No juicer? No problem! Make easy green juice right in your blender. All the nutrients of juice with the added benefit of healthy fiber. No added sweeteners.

Ingredients

  • 1 large green apple cored and chopped
  • 15 green seedless grapes de-stemmed
  • 2 large kale leaves woody stems removed
  • 2 ribs celery chopped
  • ½ seedless cucumber chopped
  • ¾ cup cold water
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice or to taste

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until completely smooth.
  • Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve or a nut milk bag into a bowl to ensure no pulp remains.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

~ Wash the produce well.
~ Remove the core and seeds of the apple and the woody stems of the kale.
~ Rough chop the fruits and veggies to make it easier on the blender.
~ Blend until completely smooth.
~ Strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer or a nut milk bag to remove any pulp.
~ Serve over ice. Green juice is better when it's cold!
~ Drink immediately.

This recipe makes about 16 ounces after straining.
