Equipment

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsweetened, plain non-dairy milk
  • 1 naval orange peeled
  • 1 ripe banana peeled
  • 3 tablespoons raw cashews
  • 3-4 ice cubes

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth and creamy.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

~ Use seedless naval oranges or clementines. Simply peel and add the whole fruit to the blender.
~ The riper the banana, the sweeter it will be. Brown spotty bananas are perfect for smoothies!
~ Use unsalted raw cashews. Do not use roasted cashews and definitely not salted!
~ Add a few ice cubes to the blender for a cool, frosty finish. You can also use frozen bananas instead of fresh for the same effect.
~ For a nut-free option, use old fashioned rolled oats instead of cashews.
~ If your smoothie is too thin, add another banana or extra nuts.
~ If your smoothie is too thick, add additional non-dairy milk.
