Spicy Hummus

Your favorite Mediterranean dip with a spicy southwest kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 1 garlic clove peeled
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup spicy salsa use your favorite

Instructions

  • Process all ingredients in a food processor.
  • If you like it a bit thinner, add more salsa (or water) 1 tablespoon at a time.
  • Serve with corn chips, tortilla chips, pita chips, assorted veggies or all of the above.
