Ingredients you need: Flour Vegan butter Vegetable broth Soy sauce Onion powder Garlic powder Ground thyme Black pepper Nutritional yeast

Make a roux by whisking vegan butter and flour.

Step 1

Add the soy sauce and spices and whisk to combine.

Step 2

Add a few tablespoons of broth and whisk until smooth.

Step 3

Add the nutritional yeast and remaining broth while whisking constantly.

Step 4

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until thickened.

Step 5

Serve over mashed potatoes, vegan Thanksgiving turkey, or any of your favorite recipes.
