- 2 ½ -3 cups North Coast Organic Kids Organic Apple Juice Drink
- ¼ cup small diced fresh apples optional
Sprinkle 1 to 2 teaspoons of diced apples, if using, into each or some of the molds.
Pour the apple juice carefully into each mold almost to the top, leaving a small space for the juice to expand as it freezes.
Place the top on the molds and insert the popsicle sticks.
Place in the freezer for at least 5 to 6 hours, or overnight, until frozen solid.
To unmold, fill a container about the height of your molds with room temperature water (I found a loaf pan to be the perfect size). Dip the molds in the water for about 20 seconds. Remove the mold from the water and gently pull up on the popsicle sticks...they should slide out easily.
If you want to get more creative with your popsicles, here are some of our favorite ways to enjoy them...
Add berries: Try adding small fresh blueberries or diced strawberries for a burst of berry flavor instead of the diced apples.
Add cinnamon: Cinnamon is a flavor you often find paired with apples. Blending the juice with a few teaspoons of ground cinnamon before pouring into the molds would be an excellent way to add extra sweetness in a healthy way.
Use North Coast Organic Fruit + Veggie pouches: Pour the contents of the pouches straight into the popsicle molds and freeze for a fruit-flavored, yet veggie-full treat.
