  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple tidbits drained (or 2-3 cups of fresh diced pineapple)
  • 1 avocado peel and pit discarded
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped
  • 1 jalapeño diced (optional)
  • juice from ½ lime or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon salt or to taste

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning to your liking.

Notes

~ Be sure to drain the canned pineapple! Save the juice for another recipe, like sauces or smoothies.
~ Dice the avocado and pineapple into similar size pieces.
~ Add a jalapeño or serrano pepper if you want a spicy salsa.
