Green Bean Broccoli Stir Fry

This Green Bean Broccoli Stir Fry has crispy, yet tender, veggies and lots of flavor. It's a versatile dish that your whole family is going to love!

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or 1/4 cup veggie broth or water for an oil free option)
  • 1/4 red onion (sliced)
  • 1 average head broccoli (chopped into florets)
  • 1 lb green beans (halved)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos (or tamari)
  • juice from 1/2 lime
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds


  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté 3-4 minutes to soften.
  • Add the green beans and broccoli. Stir. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook 7-8 minutes. 
  • Add the garlic, ginger, and coconut aminos. Sauté another 2 minutes, uncovered.
  • Add the lime juice and sesame seeds just before serving. 


~Serve paired with baked tofu or pan fried tempeh or over noodles or rice.
