There’s a new favorite granola in the house and it’s this Chocolate Chai Spice Granola.
Not only is it packed with flavor and spice, but it will make your whole house smell amazing as it bakes, too! The heavenly aroma just screams cozy and comforting to me as the temps turn cooler and the air turns brisk.
This is the prefect breakfast or snack to carry you through to the holidays.
I wasn’t sure how the kids would feel about this one with all the aromatic spices, but they all loved it and were begging for more! I’m thinking you will be too!
I prefer this chocolate chai granola with a splash of rice milk or sprinkled on top of non-dairy yogurt, but it would also be delicious for an on-the-go snack…perhaps mixed with some dairy-free chocolate chips! My kids love it dry and my son even took some in his lunchbox one day as a treat.
This spiced granola will remind you of your favorite tea latte with a very subtle hint of cocoa. Feel free to add even more cocoa powder if you like. I didn’t want it to overpower the other spices.

I still can’t believe I’ve never made my own granola! Yours looks so yummy! Need to definitely try it 🙂
Jenn S.
Once you do it, I bet you never go back to store bought, Vanessa! It’s just so easy…throw it all in a bowl, mix around, throw it in the oven, voila! And its soooo much cheaper than those $5 small boxes you get at the store (that usually have oil and other not so pleasant ingredients). Let me know if you try it!

Yes! We eat it over yogurt all the time too!
Jenn S.
Do you make your own yogurt, Sohpia?? I’ve heard it pretty easy, but have never tried it.
Natalie
I need this on top of my nice cream bowl RIGHT NOW! The perfect time of year when it’s still warm enough for nice cream and smoothies but still totally acceptable to bake with these sorts of flavors <3 Great combo Jenn, and I love the brown rice crisps in there too, one of my fave granola ingredients!
Jenn S.
Natalie, this would be so delicious on nice cream! Why haven’t I thought of that?? Cinnamon ice cream, perhaps?

Granola is one of my favorite things to make each week and CHAI, omg girl, one of my favorite flavors ever. I am literally drinking chai tea as I type this, haha! I love the smells of chai so much, so I know this granola is the bomb! YUM.
Jenn S.
Me too, Brandi! The smell is just so intoxicating! Makes me fell all warm and cozy when I get a whiff. Thanks!!
Hannah
Yaaasss. This granola looks perfect! I feel like chai and chocolate don’t get put together enough. I wish I could say that my first thought was to put it on something healthy, but no. My first thought was to sprinkle it all over ice cream. I bet that would be dreamy!
Jenn S.
Oh, it would be awesome on ice cream!!!! Perhaps So Delicious Cashew Milk Snickerdoodle Ice Cream (My favorite!!!). Thanks, Hannah!
